I was just poking around on the Desbarres Fonds online and stumbled upon this survey of Henry Ripley's Homestead made in 1816 at the time of purchase. The crazy metes and bounds description in the original deed mentioned a number of different trees and that's actually how I recognized it. The survey matches up exactly with the landmarks and measurements described in the deed. I have updated the Homestead of Henry Ripley and Mary Fawcett page on this website with the information.
