On 24 Aug 1797 this property was escheated to Alexander Cochrane his neighbour to the east. These papers are viewable online. (Nova Scotia Land Papers). Lots were commonly escheated (returned to the crown) if they remained undeveloped.
25 Oct 1817 Jane Vickery wife of Jonathan Vickery of Parrsboro paid to Peter Shey 5 shillings for lots 3 and 8 in the first division A at Falmouth. This property had previously been sold by Jonathan Vickery to Edward Church, so perhaps Jonathan was never paid for the lots. (Deed Book 15, p. 69, registered 1821). See the following deed as these were registered the same day and appear together in the deed book.
6 Aug 1821 the executors of the estate of Edward Church paid Jonathan Vickery late of Falmouth now in Parrsboro and his wife Jane 6 pounds for lots 3 and 8 in the first division A at Falmouth.
