Fort Frances Municipal and St. Mary's Cemetery (Ontario)
Arleigh Deane Mallory (1892-1952) and Alice Malinda Ripley (1893-1976)
The gravestone of Deane and Alice is located close to the last lane of the cemetery as you are heading out of Fort Frances. On the other side of the lane is a stand of tall trees with parking beneath them. Perpetual flowers have been provided by the family. This photo was taken on the day we buried my mother's ashes just to the right of the gravestone.

Geraldeane Marie Mallory (1917-2010) and Elaine Jean Kryzanowski nee Mallory (1928-2012)
The ashes of sisters Geraldeane and Elaine are buried on their parents' joint plot. It was somewhat puzzling to us that my mother decided to bury her husband Edward with his parents and for her to be buried with her parents. However, the old Fort Frances Cemetery has no space for new gravestones except on old family plots, so we concluded they wanted to be buried near families rather than in the newer cemetery which is located elsewhere. Edward's grave is located very near. My mother knew that her married name had been misspelled on the gravestone but said it did not matter to her. The photo on the right was taken the day we interred her ashes in July of 2012.

Baby Douglas Mallory (btw 1923 and 1928) with paternal grandparents William Orlo Mallory (1867-1959) and Harriett Pauline Warner (1866-1948), their daughter Josephine Mallory (1896-1917) and Harriett's brother Trueman Pember Warner Jr. (1860-1949)
Baby Douglas was stillborn. His mother Alice Malinda Ripley remained in hospital for an entire month after the difficult birth. During this time, Douglas was buried with his paternal grandparents. Alice always regretted this and wished his remains could be reburied on her plot. There are 5 sets of perpetual flowers on the gravesite but only 4 names on the gravestone. However, my aunt Harriett visited the cemetery with me in 2012 and confirmed that Baby Douglas was buried in that location in the plot originally intended for Truman which explains why Trueman also has a separate grave marker closeby. Josephine died very young of a burst appendix.

Edward Lloyd Kryzanowski (1925-2007) and his parents Petro (Peter)Kryzanowski (1893-1952) and Bronislawa (Bernis) Tanchuk (1905-1981)
My father Edward is buried with his parents Peter and Bernis. Their family plot is a short distance from the Mallory plot.
